Dickies and Budweiser’s new collab is pure America-maxxing

Hoodies, tees, and carpenter pants get a vintage Budweiser treatment for the beer's 150th anniversary.

Somewhere, a bald eagle is shedding a single tear over Dickies and Budweiser’s first-ever merch collab.

The two teamed up for Bud’s 150th anniversary, which is a heck of a milestone. Dickies was founded in 1922, so it’s no slouch either, and the hundred-plus years of combined workwear and beer experience have made this a pretty strong collection.

The whole drop includes hoodies, t-shirts, and carpenter pants, all reworked with vintage-inspired Budweiser graphics, “Made of America” script, and 150th-anniversary branding layered onto Dickies’ classic workwear silhouettes.

Standouts include the 150-Year Icon Pullover Hoodie, a cotton hoodie with front-and-back anniversary graphics, and the Duck Double Knee Carpenter Pants, a reinforced work pant with a co-branded interior waistband and back-yoke embroidery.

Alongside the apparel, the brands are running a limited promotion called the Genuinely Earned Jacket, awarding 100 exclusive jackets through a social media nomination contest running through September 21. The outerwear looks great, but it’s going to be a lot harder to get your hands on.

Dickies keeps finding new drinking buddies for its workwear

This isn’t Dickies’ first go-around for pairing hard work with a drink at the end of the day. Back in 2023, the brand teamed up with Jameson on a similar collection built on the same pitch: two brands with generations of blue-collar authenticity behind them, joining forces to sell a hoodie.

The Budweiser version leans even harder into the Americana angle, which is pretty much a no-brainer. Budweiser turning 150 is a genuinely big number, and pairing it with Dickies, a brand that’s been outfitting actual American workers since 1922, gives the whole thing a “built by real hands” throughline that a beer alone can’t quite pull off.

Whether the collection is in your wheelhouse is probably going to depend on how many logos you’re comfortable wearing on a t-shirt, but as far as beverage-brand workwear collabs go, this is a clean, on-theme execution of a formula Dickies already knows works.

Where to buy it

The Dickies x Budweiser collection is available now at dickies.com and select retailers, priced from $25 to $85. A second drop follows in November.

The best casual watches for men (to upgrade your everyday style)
Work wear blues watch close up

Watches are more than a tool. They are more than an accessory. They are the kind of tool and accessory that make a statement. They are an expression. They are a statement. A man can look incredible: the right top, the right bottom, great shoes, great hat. The wrong watch can ruin a look, or even the whole essence. Here is the rub: the wrong watch can be subjective. For instance, most people will tell you that a Timex broken watch isn’t the right watch for a pinstripe power suit. However, it was my grandfather’s watch, and I wear it anytime I need him and his guidance. The point? That is never the wrong watch. Once you find a casual watch that works for you, it will be your everyday wear and will never be the wrong watch.

That is what I collected here: The best of the casual watches you can pick up today that will become your everyday wear.

Audemars Piguet launches pre-owned program to rival the titan of the second-hand watch market
Audemars Piguet

Rolex has dominated the watch world for nearly a century. The industry is a deep and complicated web of luxury houses and independent hopefuls. While brands like Patek Phillipe and Cartier vie for their place on the podium, Rolex holds a death grip on the chronophile’s aspirational collection checklist. But Audemars Piguet has decided to challenge them somewhere most other brands are deciding to ignore: the pre-owned market. Now, while something like the Royal Oak is an icon among enthusiasts, AP launching their own certified pre-owned marketplace to chase the reported $1 billion Rolex pie will certainly upset the market.

Like I said, it is a deep and complicated web, so I sat down with a horological expert and founder of WatchGuys, (317K on Instagram), Robertino Altieri, to have him walk me through what this means for watches and their passionate collectors.
