When it comes to boots, there’s seldom one that’s more classic and timeless than the Chelsea Boot. Built with either a slimmer sole or chunky tread, the Chelsea boot is a staple thanks to its versatility and ability to wear in almost any season. For brands like Blundstone, the Chelsea boot also offers the opportunity to refine a simple silhouette into a durable, high-quality shoe that doesn’t wear out easily. Although Blundstone’s Chelsea boot is timeless enough to withstand any trend or season, the brand has turned to Filson to refine the style further. Just as with their collaboration with L.L.Bean a few years back, this new Chelsea boot is more than just another co-branding opportunity; it’s an improvement on a staple shoe by two brands dedicated to quality and durability.

Blundstone x Filson’s Chelsea boot brings together durability and style

Improving on the Chelsea boot, Blundstone and Filson have released a new iteration of the silhouette that remixes three of Blundstone’s existing boots. Differentiated by leather type, the Chelsea boot is upgraded with a new ultra-durable sole: the Avalon Gecko TPU. Blundstone has created this outsole to improve the boot’s durability and grip. Additionally, co-branded footbed technology has been added to enhance comfort. Filson’s signature “Blaze Orange” can be seen on the inside of the boot, as well as on the elastic side panels. For the first time in Blundstone’s history, these boots are made with co-branded leather pull tabs, which are durable and patina over time. The shoes will arrive on October 23 for $240 and will be available via Filson, Blundstone, and select retailers.

80 grand for this new G-Shock? Casio says it’s worth it
Watch, Face, Numbers

Sapphire is great at plenty of things: resisting scratches, looking expensive, and… shattering when you drop it. That last one isn’t normally an issue for a G-Shock, a watch whose whole personality is built around not breaking at all.

So naturally, Casio had to challenge the status quo, and spent roughly eight years making a G-Shock out of sapphire.

James Bond style on International James Bond Day: These are the best looks James Bond ever wore
Sean Connery as James Bond

It is no secret that James Bond is one of the most stylish men in fiction. He has been a pillar of fashion and has driven fashion for men since he launched on October 5th, 1962. 64 years later, we still look to him for inspiration. But what is it about the debonair double-0 that keeps us enthralled with his sartorial choices? I can tell you it is because he follows the simple rule of fit over fashion. He doesn’t wear bright colors or crazy patterns. His looks are timeless and elegant. And, all of them fit perfectly. Everything looks as though it was made for him. That is why James Bond style endures. And since we’re celebrating James Bond today for International James Bond Day with a book, a watch, and rankings of his best movies and actors, I figured we couldn’t pass up the chance to check out his favorite looks too.

But with 25 movies under his belt, there are hundreds of looks to choose from when picking his best. So, I scoured the films (tough job) and came up with my favorite looks from 007.
