The Hudson Music Project

Just when you think there are enough music festivals to fill every summer weekend, a newcomer enters the scene. But you won’t find us complaining because The Hudson Music Project, celebrating it’s inaugural year this July, sounds awesome. With headliners like Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse and Flaming Lips, it’s bound to be one of the best festivals this year.

Set against the backdrop of the Catskill Mountains on Winston Farm in Saugerties, NY, The Hudson Music Project – taking place July 11-13 – is three days of music, interactive art installations, premiere food and drink vendors and even a carnival to channel your inner teen. If camping is your thing, that’s the best way to experience the fest, with options to pitch your own tent, rent one or even go “glamping” if sleeping on the ground isn’t your idea of a good time. There are also daily shuttles from major metropolitan areas like NYC, Boston and Philadelphia so you can experience the festival without staying overnight.

In addition to the killer headlining acts, some of our favorites like Twin Shadow, Kelela, Flying Lotus, Holy Ghost and Chrome Sparks will be there performing on one of The Hudson Project’s four stages. There’s something for everyone with more than 85 acts across multiple genres playing during the three-day fest. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit hudsonmusicproject.com. We’ll see you there.

The trailer for Pluribus.

After spending more than a decade in the world of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Vince Gilligan is finally branching out into something new. The new series, which is coming from Apple, is called Pluribus and stars Rhea Seehorn, who also starred in Better Call Saul.

Now, we've got our first teaser for the new show, and it's just as baffling as you might expect. In the teaser, we see a woman licking every donut in a box of donuts, as well as a sign that says "Help yourself" along with a smiley face. The teaser is just 30 seconds long, and we don't see Seehorn or have any context for what the show is about.
