Louis Vuitton is bringing luxury craftsmanship to the Las Vegas Strip this November with another bespoke Trophy Trunk, this one created for the 2025 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The race, taking place from November 20 to 22, is the 22nd stop on the 2025 F1 calendar and marks the sport’s 75th anniversary season. The French fashion house isn’t just showing up with luggage—it’s debuting a fresh visual signature for on-track signage that blends with the city’s electric atmosphere.

This year’s Las Vegas event will again turn the Strip into one of motorsport’s most dramatic backdrops. This will be the third consecutive year for racing lights bouncing off casinos and high-rises. Louis Vuitton’s presence adds a dose of couture flair to the spectacle, connecting its long tradition of elite sports partnerships with F1’s modern showmanship.

A celebration of design and tradition

The new Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk embodies both craftsmanship and competition. Handmade at the brand’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, the case features its iconic Monogram canvas, a black-and-white Damier pattern inspired by the checkered flag, and a bold V motif symbolizing both Vuitton and victory. The design reflects the shared values of precision, performance, and innovation that unite the worlds of high fashion and high speed.

This isn’t Vuitton’s first lap with Formula 1. The brand previously created trunks for the Monaco Grand Prix and now expands its reach through a wider LVMH partnership as a Global Partner of Formula 1. As F1 continues to grow its global audience, the trunk becomes more than a luxury accessory—it’s a symbol of the sport’s evolving blend of style, culture, and entertainment.

Beyond the trunk

Louis Vuitton’s ties to elite sports stretch back decades, with custom trunks built for events like the FIFA World Cup, the Rugby World Cup, and the Olympic Games. The Las Vegas Grand Prix collaboration continues that legacy, reaffirming the brand’s belief that victory deserves to travel in style. This partnership also highlights how fashion and motorsport now share the same runway—where craftsmanship meets adrenaline and tradition meets technology.

Is the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 the best sports coupe on the market?

When it comes to entertaining vehicles, it’s hard to beat a good sports coupe. And, despite it being a competitive segment, there’s an argument that the Mercedes-AMG deserves a spot close to the top of the sports coupe table.

In terms of direct rivals, the AMG sits in a similar bracket to the Porsche 911, Maserati Granturismo, and the BMW M8 Competition. All of which offer a lot of power, excellent handling, and an eye catching exterior.

McLaren and Motul develop bespoke lubricant to keep them on top
Motul uses McLaren Racing to test the limits of their formulas
Auto Racing, Car, Formula One

My first vehicle was a 1988 Ford Ranger. It was small, reliable, and the perfect first car. However, I wasn't allowed to park it in the driveway at home because it went through as much oil as it did gas. The leak was bad enough that I had to check and refill the oil once a week. The same cadence as the gas tank. That was where I learned the importance of fluids for cars. McLaren hits the Formula 1 tracks across the globe with that importance at the forefront of mind as they compete for the championship, and will now be teaming with Motul to take their collaboration for the world's most reliable lubricant to the world of endurance racing. From the high stress of speed in Formula 1 to the endurance of long-distance racing, the perfect bespoke lubricant is on the way.

McLaren was already using a very high-performance transmission fluid, with an extremely high level of requirements. Our challenge was to go even further: decrease friction losses even more while ensuring lubricant durability over time. The formulation developed with McLaren Racing has been validated to maintain its performance over several thousand kilometers under Formula 1 conditions. And this is only the beginning: in F1, cars are constantly evolving, and the formulation will continue to progress as well. - Julien Plet, Head of R&D at Motul.
