Marriott International is expanding its reach into the great outdoors with the launch of Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors, a new digital platform designed to help travelers find their next adventure by activity as well as destination. Guests can now search across more than 450 hotels, 50,000 Homes & Villas, and curated tours and activities, all tied to outdoor pursuits such as hiking, surfing, glamping, scuba diving, and skiing.
The debut also marks the arrival of Marriott’s newest brand, the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy™. This portfolio brings together properties centered on immersive nature experiences, ranging from boutique cliffside hotels to modern cabins near national parks. Each property is designed to combine natural beauty with comfort, offering essentials like hot running water, soft beds, and private restrooms.
“We built Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors to help people, whether that’s cresting a mountain trail, catching the perfect wave, or simply finding quiet under the stars,” said Peggy Roe, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International.
Drop Pin Challenge adds even more adventure

To celebrate the launch, Marriott Bonvoy is running a Drop Pin Challenge through October 31. In partnership with actor and outdoor enthusiast Dylan Efron, the campaign hides 20 physical pins at iconic outdoor destinations across the U.S. and Canada, including Banff, Yellowstone, and the Great Smoky Mountains. Each pin is embedded with a QR code, and the first 50 participants to scan one will receive 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
