There’s a new addition to Stone’s beloved IPA Mixed Pack. The west coast brewery just added the aptly-named Delicious Tropical IPA to the batch. Coming in at 6.3%, fairly modest by Stone standards, the beer boasts 32 IBUs and a crisp finish.
Tropical fruit and tangerine notes rum rampant thanks to three kinds of hops in the bill. Included in the beer are Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and Vista hops. The breezy beer pours a pale straw tone and offers generous amounts of citrus.
“Each Stone Delicious IPA has a distinct profile, underscored by big hop flavor and incredible drinkability,” says Steve Gonzalez, senior manager of small batch brewing & innovation at Stone. “This tropical edition leads with orange zest aromas and complex tropical notes. With mild bitterness, it’s an undeniable crowd pleaser.”

The beer is only available at retailers as part of the Mixed Pack. This royal sampler of sorts comes in 12-pack and 24-pack formats. Stone’s work is available at retailers throughout the west and beyond.
Now’s the time of year when we tend to reach for bigger options like amber ale beers but the Mixed Pack offers some big IPAs that can take on the cold. Accompanying the new offering in the Mixed Pack are two other India Pale Ales. They include the Delicious Citra IPA and the Delicious Hazy
Many in the beer realm know the Stone name. The brewery launched in California back in 1996 and has played a big part in the ongoing craft beer movement. Known for bold, hop-driven beers, Stone Brewing is headquartered in Escondido.
