It wasn’t long ago when Puma and Salehe Bembury announced the designer’s increased involvement in the brand’s design department. Since then, the duo has treated fans to a few special collaborative designs, including an exclusive sneaker just in time for the NBA Finals. However, for those yearning for another collaborative model, the time has come for a fresh new design. Expected to make its runway appearance during Paris Fashion Week, the latest sneaker from the pair is a splash of color with plenty of detail and style. With stylish warm tones, the latest sneaker launch is precisely what you would expect from Salehe Bembury and Puma’s partnership. The first running sneaker to come out of this collaboration, the new Puma sneaker is the perfect way to add color to your performance lineup.

Time to meet the Salehe Bembury x Puma Velum

For their latest partnership, Salehe Bembury and Puma are releasing the Velum sneaker. Using orange engineered mesh uppers, the overall design of the Velum sneaker is accented by tones of brown, yellow, red, and grey to create a warm tone composition. Using a membrane-inspired overlay, the sneaker appears to have a mix of materials and structure. Co-branding is found on the tongue, while also appearing on the medial heel. Nitro Foam technology is expected to cushion the sneaker, giving it the ultimate comfort. The Salehe Bembury x Puma Velum will make its first appearance at a pop-up in Paris on June 25, while its global release is expected to hit shelves later this year.
