Although the New Balance 1906L has been available for only a short time, it has undoubtedly made a significant impact. With various iterations available since its inception, the sneaker-loafer hybrid from the brand has undoubtedly set the bar for the trend. One of the first brands to adopt this trend in recent seasons, New Balance is continuing its journey of making this divisive shoe into your next must-have sneaker. In its latest attempt, the sports brand has partnered with GANNI, the Copenhagen-born fashion house renowned for its unapologetic approach to style, for a new iteration of the sneaker-loafer. By combining New Balance’s athletic approach with GANNI’s distinctive design, the 1906L returns with a revitalized look and fresh energy.

New Balance and GANNI take on this year’s divisive footwear trend

Featuring the classic structure of a loafer with New Balance’s technical runner details, the 1906L continues to make a statement. In this iteration, the sneaker-loafer features GANNI’s snake skin print on the upper with a bold color combination of yellow, black, and grey. Placed onto a noticeable rubber sole, the design continues with a classic loafer strap that includes GANNI’s metal butterfly logo and a metal New Balance logo. A rebellious and fashion-forward take on the New Balance 1906L, this collaboration with GANNI brings a fresh spin to this contemporary shoe. The GANNI x New Balance 1906L is available for purchase now via GANNI’s webstore and will be released globally via New Balance’s website on September 30 for a retail price of $190. While it’s challenging to make this sneaker-loafer design even bolder and more impactful, this GANNI collaboration proves that it’s always possible to push the limits even further.

Seiko’s new watch is a tiny tribute to a tinier Honda scooter
Wristwatch, Arm, Body Part

The folks at Seiko have a fun one on their hands: the 5 Sports Field x Honda MOTOCOMPO Limited Edition, a 36.4mm field watch built entirely around Honda’s cult “trunk bike.”

It’s a tribute to a weird Japanese cult scooter (more on that later), and the color scheme goes hard to match. A bright yellow dial cribs from the scooter’s original color, with a black band running across the center carrying the Honda logo — a nod to the MOTOCOMPO’s protective side bars.

Your summer shades are tired, it may be time for an upgrade with KREWE’s expert advice
Accessories, Sunglasses, Face

There are few things better than putting together a great look, checking yourself in the mirror, and then going for that perfect pair of sunglasses to slide on and complete the outfit. Your shades are the completion of a transformation from indoor to outdoor. They are functional in that they protect your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. And they keep you from getting that annoying headache resulting from squinting all day. But they are also an amazing stylistic opportunity. They can become your statement piece; just ask Elton John if they are simply functional. But how do you select the right sunglasses to upgrade your collection? I was recently in the KREWE store down in the Meatpacking District and discovered that shopping for shades can be more than just scrolling online; it can be an experience unlike other shopping outings. After my experience in the store, I asked KREWE to spread the knowledge for shopping for new shades.

The best sunglasses are the ones you instinctively reach for day after day. But if your current pair is starting to feel a little too familiar, it may be time for an upgrade. – Kate McCabe, Vice President of Brand Marketing, KREWE

Panerai’s new insanely light Luminor Marina goes full carbon fiber
Panerai Luminor

At some point, someone at Panerai looked at one of the brand’s signature 44mm cushion cases and decided it needed to lose weight — a lot of it.

The result is the new Luminor Marina PAM01707, built entirely from Carbotech, Panerai’s proprietary carbon composite made by pressing thin layers of carbon fiber together with PEEK, a high-performance polymer.
