Mysteryland Announces 2017 Lineup with Major Lazer, LCD Soundsystem, and More

The fourth year of Mysteryland’s stateside iteration takes place June 9-12 in Bethel Woods, NY.

This year’s edition features a more diverse lineup including headliners G-Eazy, LCD Soundsystem, and Major Lazer.

The supporting names are a who’s who of the electronic scene ranging from world champion DJ A-Trak to disco stars Holy Ghost! (A full lineup follows this story).

It will also feature a variety of curated experiences catered towards music tastes far and wide. Spanish promoters Elrow will bring the celebratory vibes, while Sydney Collective Future Classic will host a stage with everything from acid house to future bass. Even Ibiza gets in on the act with noted party Paradise throwing an underground event during the festival.

The festival boasts itself as “the world’s longest-running electronic music festival,” with origins starting in 1993 in The Netherlands.

If you watched Barry all the way through to its conclusion, you're likely aware that Bill Hader is a kind of dark guy. He's always talking about his fascination with serial killers and murderers, and now he's channeling that fascination into a project for HBO. Variety is reporting that Hader will co-write and potentially star in a new HBO series about the infamous Jonestown massacre.

Hader is co-writing the series with Daniel Zelman, and while it's still in development, the show could potentially be Hader's next star vehicle with HBO, where he also worked on Barry.
