Forget Drycleaning; Swash Your Clothes!

Dry cleaning can be a hassle. It’s expensive, it can take a long time, and it isn’t very good for the environment. Unfortunately there aren’t that many alternatives, but luckily the folks at Whirlpool and Tide have come up with a machine that solves all these problems.

Named the Swash, the system helps save your dry cleaning problems in three ways: First of all it saves time by helping garments look their best under 10 minutes. Second of all, it cuts your dry cleaning costs down by about 50 percent. Third of all, it saves your clothes by preventing dyes from fading and fabrics from pilling. White, blue and orange lights count down cycle completions and also alert you in case anything goes wrong. In addition, it’s nice and compact, so for those of you who don’t live in compact apartments, there’s plenty of room to store Swash, which can fit right into your closet. And, you don’t need any complicated water pipes, just a standard outlet.

In those 10 minutes, it removes wrinkles, neutralizes odors, and restores the fit of your clothes, returning them to the condition that you bought them in. How about that? You may never have to go to the dry cleaner again.

Still not sure about it? Swash only costs $500, and if that investment is too high, they’re giving a 45-day risk-free trial.

We have to say, with all the delicate clothes in our wardrobe and the nuisance of ironing and dry cleaning, Swash just might be a god send.

7 shows like The Sopranos for your next binge
These series all learned from HBO's best drama
The cast of The Sopranos

The Sopranos finds itself in a rare pop culture place right now. Most people know what the show is, whether you're a younger TV fan just getting into the HBO series or a veteran who is on their ninth rewatch in the last 25 years. It's a pioneering classic that is fresh and a relic of its time simultaneously. David Chase's crime drama about a mobster who goes to therapy during the day and kills capos at night brought an entirely new dimension to television that didn't exist before. The show broke barriers that other programs have tried to imitate, but very few have ever accomplished. On the other hand, the shows that have gone shot-for-shot with The Sopranos have improved upon some of the older, more outdated parts of the series.

Because The Sopranos was the original crime drama of the Golden Age of Television, it's not hard to compile a list of copycats. Simply boiling these successors down to their similarities to The Sopranos would be disrespectful, though. These shows like The Sopranos are some of the best TV series of all time and have won Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and more. Time to wake up this morning and get yourself a Sopranos-adjecent binge-watch.

8 power-packed shows like Succession to add to your watchlist
Family dramas and sarcastic societal critiques that are just like 'Succession'
Brian Cox as Logan Roy

Succession finished in 2023, but many TV diehards are still searching for an adequate replacement. This Jesse Armstrong-created drama carried HBO's legacy of quality programming for a quartet of iconic seasons. The Roy children battle inner turmoil and traumatic family relationships when their wealthy father decides to start trying out replacement CEOs for his business. Succession's gorgeous set pieces and dense characters make it feel like a Shakespearean experience updated for a modern audience. Talented actors like Jeremy Strong, Brian Cox, and many others brought a supreme script to life.

If you're like me, you miss the family drama, backstabbing, and political commentary used in Succession. In that case, you should check out these dramas and black comedies that incorporate more than a couple of the show's elements into their arsenal. Not every show on this list has three Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series, but in my opinion, all of them are fantastic. You'll love these shows like Succession if you're a fan of great TV.
