Feel Good Friday: Found My Animal

A new season is not just the time for us to change our accessories. Our pets have needs too! We aren’t talking about bedazzled hoodies. But we bet after a summer of beaches, play dates and muddy walks, your pup’s leash has had it. We are big fans of Brooklyn based leash company, Found My Animal.

Founded in 2006 by two rescue animal lovers, Bethany Obrecht and Anna Conway, who also are seriously design minded (One went to Cooper Union, the other to Rhode Island School of Design). Their leashes are made from hand-spliced and whipped fishermen’s rope and come with a metal tag that is individually stamped with a number representing the number of dogs that they have helped to date.

All of their products are made domestically and since the ropes and hardware are built to be used in the harsh ocean environment, the products last. The adjustable leash allows it to be used in a variety of ways from hand held to wrapping around your waist or shoulder (great for freeing hands whilst walking and multi-tasking). They also have a wide range of collars and accessories like dog beds, collapsible canvas water bowls and the most masculine poop bag holder we have ever laid eyes on.

The Feel Good Friday aspect is that the company encourages rescue over the purchasing of pets. While they support a plethora of great shelters and adoption sites, you can also subscribe to their list of pets up for adoption. As the girls told us, according to the ASPCA, of the 5-7 million companion animals entering the shelter system every year, 3-4 million are euthanized. They want to raise awareness of affordable spay/neuter programs as well as animal adoption.

The show now has a name and a release date.
The trailer for Pluribus.

After spending more than a decade in the world of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Vince Gilligan is finally branching out into something new. The new series, which is coming from Apple, is called Pluribus and stars Rhea Seehorn, who also starred in Better Call Saul.

Now, we've got our first teaser for the new show, and it's just as baffling as you might expect. In the teaser, we see a woman licking every donut in a box of donuts, as well as a sign that says "Help yourself" along with a smiley face. The teaser is just 30 seconds long, and we don't see Seehorn or have any context for what the show is about.
