Chances are, when you think of The Rolling Stones, your first image isn’t of a glass of rum. Well, maybe it will be soon because, just in time for warm weather, the iconic rock band is releasing a new Jamaican rum.
Crossfire Hurricane Rum

It’s called Crossfire Hurricane Rum, and it’s a super-premium expression centered on the band’s love of the Caribbean island. It’s a 100% Jamaican rum blend from Hampden Estate, Long Pond, Worthy Park, and Clarendon distilleries. The name is a reference to the opening lyric of’ Jumpin’ Jack Flash’.
Crossfire Hurricane, Batches 0001 is made from 100% Jamaican rum and has no added sugar or additives. It’s a blend that marries pot- and column-still distilled rums. According to the brand, the result is a fruit, high-ester, balanced rum you won’t soon forget.
“Jamaica got into everything we did in the early seventies – the music, the rhythm, the pace of life. Jamaica was one of the few places that would let us all in. The island said come in and we recorded Goats Head Soup. It’s never let us down since. Crossfire Hurricane is a continuation of that story, more than fifty years on,” The Rolling Stones said.
The Rolling Stones even partnered with Global Rum Ambassador Ian Burrell to co-create this expression.
“Crossfire Hurricane breaks new ground as the first brand to unite rums from four of Jamaica’s six remaining distilleries – Hampden Estate, Long Pond, Worthy Park, and Clarendon – each producing a distinctly different style of spirit. The result is a rum of exceptional complexity and character, unlike anything else on the market, “ Burrell says.
Where can I buy it?

Crossfire Hurricane Rum is available at select retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $35 for the gold and $45 for the reserve.
