If you’re looking for value in the whiskey world, there’s a good chance you have at least one bottle of Jack Daniel’s. You can’t beat the appeal of Old No. 7, but recently, this iconic Tennessee-based brand announced the release of its most premium and limited whiskey ever produced.
Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey

It’s called Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey, and it’s a super-premium collaboration between the Lynchburg-based distillery and the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team. Not only does it feature a unique and memorable label, but inside, you’ll find memorable and specially-created Tennessee whiskey as well.
It begins with the Jack Daniel’s signature grain bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. After distillation, it’s charcoal-mellowed before being matured in handcrafted new American white oak barrels made from staves aged in the open air for a longer-than-usual period.
According to the brand, the result is a memorable 117.4-proof expression that begins with a nose of maple candy, fruit, and toasted oak. The palate is centered on caramelized sugar, chocolate, pipe tobacco, and gentle baking spices. The finish is lingering, warm, and ends with a mix of brown sugar candy and spices.
“We are thrilled to continue to celebrate many fantastic years of partnership with McLaren with the debut of our most exciting collaboration yet – a remarkable bottle that is destined to become a collector’s item for Formula 1 fans and whiskey drinkers alike,” Mark Bacon, SVP , Global Managing Director for Jack Daniel’s, says.
“Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey embodies our shared values of innovation, excellence, and ambition.”
Where can I buy it?

Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey is now available at select retailers nationwide for the suggested retail price of $599.99.
