There’s no reason to wait until Christmas and New Year’s Eve for a good punch recipe. They can be tailored to any season of the year and make for a cool, large-format cocktail ideal for gatherings and parties. And right now, in the thick of autumn, it’s all about the apple.
Well, apple and bourbon go together like beer and brats or seafood and wine. Which is to say, it’s a classic pairing and one that’s all the better in the fall, when apples are fresh. And when you create that combination in punch form, there’s enough for everybody to enjoy.
As you approach November and the gatherings begin to commence, consider a drink like this for hosting purposes. It’s great in that you can essentially set it and forget it. In other words, you can create the drink beforehand and people can serve themselves when needed throughout the evening.
Four Roses Bourbon set us up with a fine punch befitting of seasonal gatherings like Halloween parties and Thanksgiving. Read on for the full recipe.
