Wales Bonner and Adidas have collaborated to create stunning and viral footwear designs each season. While the duo has been working together for many seasons already, it seems as if the pair only grows stronger with each design they release. Now, the two brands are gearing up for their next fall hit, which involves taking on an iconic design once again. No stranger to the Superstar sneaker, Wales Bonner’s designer twist for this season brings decadent hues and elevated textures for a shoe that’s bound to be a crowd favorite. Fans of the original Superstar sneaker will be glad to know that this design keeps the traditional silhouette, while adding sophisticated details that’ll turn this into your new favorite everyday sneaker.

Wales Bonner x Adidas brings another makeover to the Superstar

Donning a new faux croc material, the Superstar sneaker comes with an off-white upper that channels a more luxe look. The famed Three Stripes detail is crafted with a glossy croc texture in brown, adding a bit of color contrast into the mix. Touches of gold foil branding have been added to the tongue, heel tab, and lateral side for a more elevated detail. Playing into the mood of the fall season, this Superstar sneaker will also include a deep chocolate brown leather lining that ties it all together. Other details like the rubber cupsole, molded toe caps, and leather panels remain on the shoe for added durability and comfort. Set to retail for $280, this iteration of the Superstar sneaker is set to hit shelves during the fall season.

The color dates back to Japan’s Edo period (1603-1868), when Tokyo was still known as Edo, and it’s been treated as a signature regional shade ever since.

Seiko’s new watch is a tiny tribute to a tinier Honda scooter
Wristwatch, Arm, Body Part

The folks at Seiko have a fun one on their hands: the 5 Sports Field x Honda MOTOCOMPO Limited Edition, a 36.4mm field watch built entirely around Honda’s cult “trunk bike.”

It’s a tribute to a weird Japanese cult scooter (more on that later), and the color scheme goes hard to match. A bright yellow dial cribs from the scooter’s original color, with a black band running across the center carrying the Honda logo — a nod to the MOTOCOMPO’s protective side bars.

Your summer shades are tired, it may be time for an upgrade with KREWE’s expert advice
Accessories, Sunglasses, Face

There are few things better than putting together a great look, checking yourself in the mirror, and then going for that perfect pair of sunglasses to slide on and complete the outfit. Your shades are the completion of a transformation from indoor to outdoor. They are functional in that they protect your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. And they keep you from getting that annoying headache resulting from squinting all day. But they are also an amazing stylistic opportunity. They can become your statement piece; just ask Elton John if they are simply functional. But how do you select the right sunglasses to upgrade your collection? I was recently in the KREWE store down in the Meatpacking District and discovered that shopping for shades can be more than just scrolling online; it can be an experience unlike other shopping outings. After my experience in the store, I asked KREWE to spread the knowledge for shopping for new shades.

The best sunglasses are the ones you instinctively reach for day after day. But if your current pair is starting to feel a little too familiar, it may be time for an upgrade. – Kate McCabe, Vice President of Brand Marketing, KREWE
