The North Face’s Base Camp Duffel turns into your new favorite boots
Arriving in two models —the Base Camp 100 Waterproof Boot and the Base Camp 200 Waterproof Boot —the newest footwear release from The North Face fuses the brand’s iconic durability and practicality into two new boot designs. Transformed into a mid-height hiker boot, the Base Camp 100 Waterproof Boot features EVA waterproof uppers that have been reinforced on the inside with the brand’s Thermoball insulation. These waterproof uppers ensure the boot can handle rain, sleet, and mud, and they are easy to rinse off. Webbing loops on the back provide easy access, while a secure lacing system with lace locks keeps your foot in place. At the bottom, a deep-treaded Vibram outsole adds grip and stability on any terrain.
Sharing many similarities with the 100 Boot, the Base Camp 200 Waterproof Boot draws on the same inspiration but with a few key differences. The 200 Boot doesn’t include a lacing system; instead, it stays in place thanks to its slightly higher shaft. Although it also features the Thermoball insulation, the 200 boot dons a thicker version for even harsher weather. The 100 Boot is available in Black and Mocha Brown for $180 each, while the 200 Boot is offered in Black and Summit Gold for $200 each.
