Bentley’s Flying Spur gets Mulliner’s exclusive Ombré paint finish, blending two colors by hand over 60 hours for a striking debut. The luxury performance brand first introduced the exclusive Ombré by Mulliner paint treatment on a Bentley Continental GT Speed during Monterey Car Week at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in August 2025.

Getting that flawless fade isn’t just a quick spray-and-go. Bentley’s artisans spend nearly 60 hours on each Ombré car, working in stages to blend the colors without any unevenness or accidental third shades sneaking in. The two-person paint crew has to be in perfect sync to ensure both sides of the car match exactly, making every Flying Spur as much art piece as it is luxury cruiser.
This first sedan wears a blue-on-blue scheme, fading from Topaz Blue at the front to Windsor Blue at the rear. Mulliner is offering two other factory combos: Sunburst Gold into Orange Flame, and Tungsten fading into Onyx. Each is carefully chosen to avoid awkward color clashes while still pushing the limits of what’s possible with automotive paint. The result is a car that’s guaranteed to be unique, but always Bentley-perfect when you see it in person. Of course, exclusivity has a price. The Ombré by Mulliner option costs about $68,000.
Boat Show Debut
The Ombré Flying Spur isn’t debuting in a showroom or even a motor show. Instead, Bentley is rolling it out at the Southampton International Boat Show, positioning the sedan right alongside multi-million-dollar yachts. It’s a smart move, the kind of well-heeled crowd that buys luxury boats is exactly the audience that might tick the box for Mulliner’s most exclusive paint option.
The pairing of yachts and exclusive custom vehicle treatments isn’t new for Bentley. When Bentley introduced the Bentayga EWB Azure Riviera Collection extended-wheelbase SUV at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2024, it showcased a yachting theme for the exterior and interior colorways.
