The 5 Most Awesome Yachts in the World

In our dreams we own a yacht…a super slick yacht with a full crew, a swimming pool and a swish built-in bar. As ultra-luxe as that may sound to us, when we saw the line-up for the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, our humble dreams were well and truly put to shame. These yachts are on a whole other level of opulence. Allow us to fuel your daydreams and blow your mind with our selection of the five greatest.

1. Riva Mythos 122

The latest offering from the revered Ferretti group measures a whopping 37.5m long, making it their largest yet. The insanely sleak aluminium design houses a bridge featuring a Jacuzzi and luxury lounge area, an owner’s suite and several guest cabins – this baby will sleep ten people in case you were wondering – all of which can be customized to bespoke specifications. If that wasn’t enough, it has been awarded a Green Plus Yacht award for its progressive environmentally friendly performance, so you can sail guilt-free.

2. Benetti Ocean Paradise

If 37.5m doesn’t quite cut it, the Benetti Ocean Paradise measures an insane 55m in length. One for the style-conscious sailor, the fully customizable design options includes a combination of both transparent and opaque materials in honor of the ocean. There are four guest cabins each featuring a gigantic bathtub and seaviews, a master suite spread across the entire length of the yacht, a central hall and a hidden garage complete with a mooring platform for jet-skis. Yikes…

3. Otam 58ht

OK, here’s one for smooth criminals. Dubbed 58HT M/Y “Crazy Too”, this amazing design features a custom colored black hull and hardtop, a ‘carbon look’ deck, a single cabin, a twin guest room and a master cabin, each with its own en-suite. There’s also a custom wine cellar a master cabin with a full surround sound HD cinema and a M7 satellite dome so you can catch all your fave TV programmes way out on the ocean.

4. Logica 147 by Logica Yachts

The Logica 147 is perfect for those times when you don’t wanna abandon ship for a dip, thanks to the extra large swimming pool located on the main deck. This sleek yacht also sleeps 12, so its perfect for pool party’s on the move, and the MAN engines boast an impressive cruising speed of 14.7 knots.

5. 46 Displacement by Baglietto SP

Did somebody say P A R T Y boat? Look no further than the 46 Displacement. This insane vessel actually features a beach club in the stern. Honestly. As for the rest, you can expect a beautiful Nordic-style interior and two 3512B Caterpillar engines that can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots. Not too shabby right…

These are the best movies to watch on Peacock in May
Peacock is a TV service, but it also has a great catalog of movies to stream, too
Jack Black in Bernie.

A fun bit of historic TV trivia is that the original NBC peacock logo was first implemented in 1956 to highlight the network's new color programming. Even though the logo has gone through numerous iterations since then, the network has stuck with the colorful bird, in one form or another, for going on six decades now. It’s fitting, then, that Peacock is known most for its TV programming, highlighted by shows like The Office, Parks and Rec, and the self-mocking (and hilarious) 30 Rock. If you are on Peacock for the shows, however, don't overlook that the platform is also home to a number of great movies spanning cinema history, including everything from great comedy to excellent sports movies.

Peacock streaming offers both free (registered) and paid accounts. As a result, some Peacock movies are available without a paid subscription, and others only for subscribers. This roundup culls titles from both groups. To be sure you can access all of these classics, you'll have to fork over a subscription fee. Happy streaming and keep reading to find the best movies on Peacock right now.
