American Airlines launches new inflight menus to celebrate these European destinations

Following the debut of summer routes to Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI); Naples, Italy (NAP); and Venice, Italy (VCE), American Airlines is adding a taste of Europe to the inflight experience. Starting today, the reimagined inflight menu brings the flavors of Italy, France, Germany, and more.

Travelers’ European experiences start at 35,000 ft.

Once at cruising altitude, American Airlines passengers on a European getaway can start experiencing the continent before the wheels touch down. The airline chose dishes that reflect the intricate recipes and tastes of Europe’s traditional cuisines. The meals are available to those traveling in Flagship Business, a Flagship Preferred seat, or Flagship Suite seats flying to Paris (CDG); Nice, France (NCE); Rome (FCO); Milan (MXP); VCE; NAP; Barcelona, Spain (BCN); Madrid (MAD); Frankfurt, Germany (FRA); Munich (MUC); London (LHR); EDI; and Dublin (DUB).

Additionally, American will give travelers four more hours to preorder their meals. Prior to the change, passengers could order up to 24 hours beforehand. Now, the limit is 20 hours.

For an extra special dining experience, American curated meals inspired by specific European destinations, like Rome, Italy; Frankfurt, Germany; Paris, France, and more.
