If you’re an avid whiskey drinker, you know about the appeal of the World Whiskey Society’s releases. While you can’t go wrong with any of its limited-edition expressions, until now, that brand had never released a flavored whiskey. And it couldn’t be more aptly named.

Doc Holliday Huckleberry Edition

Fans of the brand’s popular Doc Holliday releases will love this limited-edition flavored expression inspired by the well-known Doc Holliday catchphrase, famously uttered by Val Kilmer in the movie ‘Tombstone’.

According to the World Whiskey Society, his 70-proof whiskey opens with aromas of blackberry jam, toasted vanilla beans, and oak. The palate is centered on sweet berries, honey, and graham crackers. The finish is mellow and sippable with notes of ripe berries, vanilla, and oak.

“This exceptional release pays tribute to the bold, fearless spirit of the Wild West while delivering a modern twist of juicy, summer-inspired flavor that can still be enjoyed all winter,” Alex Kogan, CEO of World Whiskey Society, says.

“Our master blender has crafted a classic whiskey profile enhanced with the sweet, tart taste of fresh huckleberries, achieving a perfect balance of richness and refreshment. Vibrant berry notes meld seamlessly with the signature smoothness of the Doc Holliday series, creating a dynamic and flavorful experience that transports you to a sun-soaked summer adventure with every sip.”

Where can I buy it?

The Doc Holliday Huckleberry Edition Flavored Whiskey is available at the World Whiskey Society online shop and at select retailers throughout the US for the suggested retail price of $45 for a 750ml bottle. There's a particular kind of confidence required to build a brand-new distillery in 2026, as the bourbon industry is in the middle of a hard correction.

Jim Beam paused production at its flagship Clermont facility for the entire year, Kentucky warehouses are sitting on a record 16-plus million aging barrels, and U.S. whiskey distillers cut output sharply through 2025 as younger drinkers buy less and the boom-era oversupply works its way through the system.
