The gang from Four Walls Irish American Whiskey wants you to hang out

Four Walls
Four Walls

If you somehow missed it, Rob Mac, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia launched a whiskey brand a few years ago. Since the gang owns a bar on the show, the creation of Four Walls Irish American Whiskey made perfect sense. Since much of the show takes place inside Paddy’s Pub with the characters sitting around doing nothing, it only makes sense that the whiskey brand would launch a campaign to get drinkers to hang out.

Four Walls Irish American Whiskey’s Come on in! campaign

Recently, the brand announced the launch of its Come on in! campaign with humorous public service announcements created to end the “friendship recession” while inviting drinkers to make plans to get together and drink whiskey together.

At the campaign’s site PledgeToHang.com, whiskey drinkers can make plans to meet up at a local bar, pub, or restaurant, throw a house party, or simply have a get-together. But this is more than just a fun way to get whiskey drinkers together, people who sign up can get a variety of rewards. They include $5 Uber vouchers, grants from creative gatherings, party-starter bundles, local events, and drink specials in certain cities.

Make the pledge

If you’re a fan of Four Walls, Always Sunny, or you simply like whiskey, you can sign the pledge on the aforementioned website and start hanging out and sipping whiskey with your pals (and new friends). At the very least, some of your Uber ride home from your favorite bar will be covered by the boys.

The best beers from California you can buy anywhere
California is more than just IPAs
Sierra Nevada

Currently, more than 9,000 breweries of all sizes operate in the US. That’s an awful lot of IPAs, stouts, and lagers to choose from. Some states are more saturated with breweries (per capita) than others. This includes places like Vermont, Colorado, Maine, Oregon, and, of course, California. While I could take a deep dive into all the biggest beer-producing states, today is all about The Golden State.

I have a special affinity for California beer, and it’s because of one style in particular. Sure, you can find a beer style to fit every palate in the state, but in California, the IPA reigns supreme. In fact, if you look at almost any list ranking the best beers in the state, it will be littered with IPA options. While I often imbibe pilsners and other lagers (as well as wheat beers and other lighter beers) in the summer as well as stouts and porters (and other dark beers) in the winter, I always go back to the classic West Coast IPA.
