Bees are amazing. They create honey and pollinate the planet, allowing us to enjoy a robust agricultural landscape. So on that note, let’s mix up a great spring cocktail in their name.
We’ve got a great one from a top whiskey brand here in the states. It’s not just a good drink, but one that pays homage to our insect friends. In fact, Frey Ranch Distillery has coupled up with Pollinator Partnership for drinks that support the cause at large.
Frey will donate up to $10K to the group over the next several months. It’s a great move from a brand that knows the colossal amount of farming involved in making a good whiskey. Now, about the drink at hand.
The cocktail is a riff on a classic Whiskey Sour. It’s minimal in terms of ingredients but maximal in terms of taste. It’s a great one to have as the blooms and warm winds of spring prevail.
This one’ for the bees. Read on for the full recipe.
