Elijah Craig is the Official Bourbon of the 2025 Ryder Cup. To celebrate the renowned tournament’s return to the US, the famed Kentucky-based distillery is releasing a limited-edition small batch bourbon — and we got our hands on it. This expression is part of the brand’s “Road to the Ryder Cup” campaign.
Elijah Craig 2025 Ryder Cup Limited-Edition Small Batch

Since the tournament is coming to New York next week (starting September 26), Elijah Craig decided to take fully mature Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon and finish it in barrels with toasted staves made from up to 75% toasted sugar maple and barrels with 25% toasted applewood, both from the Empire State. The whiskeys are finished separately for eight weeks before being vatted together.
Our own Dan Gaul recently unboxed this limited-edition whiskey and reviewed it for us. “It’s your typical Elijah Craig, in a sense,” he starts, noting that it’s a well-rounded bourbon. “It’s got a little kick to it.”
You can thank the 94-proof for that. He adds that it has a nice hit of heat and “a lingering flavor of maple sugar.” It’s warm, sweet (but not overly sweet), and gently spicy. As Dan noted, it starts out woody and earthy, and then slides into that sugar maple flavor. Well-suited for fall sipping.
“Elijah Craig is proud to once again be the Official Bourbon of the Ryder Cup, and we could think of no better way to honor this one-of-a-kind competition’s return to New York than with a Bourbon that The Empire State itself had a hand in inspiring,” Max Stefka, Associate Vice President, Elijah Craig Bourbon, said.
“It’s the perfect way to ‘cheers’ the teams and all the thrills they’ll bring golf fans at Bethpage Black and around the world. And a special cheers to Elijah Craig Golf Ambassador Bob MacIntyre on making his second consecutive Ryder Cup appearance. His dedication to excellence and embodiment of the very spirit of Elijah Craig are on full display every time he takes to the course.”
Where can I buy it?

For the suggested retail price of $69.99, drinkers receive a limited-edition expression that features a natural cork that’s wood top sealed in gold with the Ryder Cup logo. It comes in a commemorative Ryder Cup gift box that also features the tournament’s logo. The limited-edition bourbon is available nationally.
