If you’re a fan of Elijah Craig and its portfolio of award-winning bourbon, you’re going to be excited to learn about the Kentucky-based brand’s newest, epic release: Elijah Craig Single Barrel 15-Year-Old Bourbon. This new expression joins the brand’s popular single-barrel lineup.
Elijah Craig Single Barrel 15-Year-Old Bourbon

This new single-barrel bourbon was matured for a minimum of 15 years in new, charred American oak barrels. It’s bottled at 54% (108-proof) as a reference to May 4, 1964. This was the date the US Congress finally officially recognized Bourbon as a distinct product of the United States.
According to Elijah Craig, the result is a multi-layered bourbon that begins with a nose of dark fruit, figs, and a floral background. The palate is centered on flavors like toasted oak, caramelized sugar, crème brûlée, ginger, and cloves. The finish is long, warm, and ends with a balance of sweetness and spice.
“This release reflects the craftsmanship and tradition that have defined Elijah Craig for generations,” Conor O’Driscoll, Master Distiller at Heaven Hill Distillery, says.
“We were looking for exceptional depth and character in our first 15-Year-Old Single Barrel Bourbon, and it delivers at a proof that enhances its natural complexity. The result is a bold yet refined whiskey that is approachable enough to be an all-evening sipper.”
