Fans of beer and whiskey have a reason to get excited about the newest release from Copperworks Distilling Co. That’s because the Seattle-based distillery is collaborating with Pike Brewing for a unique winter whiskey.
Pike Kilt Lifter Whiskey

This limited-edition expression is called Pike Kilt Lifter Whiskey, and it’s an American whiskey that was distilled from an unhopped version of Pike’s popular Kilt Lifter Scotch-style ale.
According to the brand, the result is a complex whiskey that begins with a nose of pine needles, fresh flowers, sticky toffee, and vanilla beans. The plate is centered on baking spices, fresh biscuits, oats, dates, caramelized sugar, and citrus peels. The finish is loaded with flavors like cinnamon candy, coffee cake, dried mango, orchard fruits, and just a hint of eucalyptus.
“Copperworks Kilt Lifter Whiskey is more than a collaboration, “ Jason Parker, Pike Brewing’s first brewer and now Copperworks Distilling Co. president and co-founder, says.
“It’s a story about the roots of Seattle’s craft beverage scene and the people who helped define it.”
Parker adds, “We brewed the base for this whiskey using the same specifications as Pike does for their beer, and we even brewed it at Pike’s iconic gravity-fed 1st Avenue brewhouse.”
“After more than five years maturing in new American oak casks, we are proud to present Pike Kilt Lifter Whiskey. By transforming Pike’s Kilt Lifter into whiskey, Copperworks and Pike honor a legacy of innovation, friendship, and craft that spans more than three decades.”
Where can I buy it?

Available from Black Friday, November 28, 2025, only 1,800 bottles of this 100-proof whiskey are being made available to the public. It’s available online and at the two Copperworks Distilling tasting rooms in Seattle and Kenmore for the suggested retail price of $59.99.
