There are very few names in the whiskey world more iconic than Jim Beam. It’s a brand entrenched in history. While you can’t go wrong with anything from the Clermont, Kentucky-based distillery, for decades, you couldn’t drink this majestic whiskey out of a bowling pin. That changes now.
Jim Beam Ten-Pin Decanter

Confused yet? Well, I’ll do my best to explain. Back in the 1950s, Jim Beam launched a bowling pin-shaped decanter. After a decade of being unavailable, the brand recently announced it would relaunch this unique, collectible bottle in 2026.
Not only is the bottle crafted to resemble a bowling pin, but it also features the brand’s 10-year-old, 100-proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon, matured in charred American oak barrels. According to the brand, the result is a complex whiskey that begins with aromas of oak, toasted vanilla beans, baked bread, and caramel. Sipping it reveals notes of toffee, toasted oak, baking spices, and dried fruit. The finish is lingering and warm, ending with a mix of sweet oak.
“The Ten-Pin bottle is one of those pieces of Beam history that people remember, and bringing it back allowed us to honor that legacy in a way that feels true to who we are today,” Freddie Noe, eighth-generation master distiller at the James B. Beam Distilling Co says.
“We wanted the bourbon inside to be just as special as the bottle itself, so we chose a 10-year-old, 100-proof expression that reflects the craftsmanship our family has carried forward for generations. I’m excited for people to experience it here in Clermont, where that history continues to come to life.”
Where can I buy it?

If the idea of pouring a glass of whiskey out of a bowling pin appeals to you (and why shouldn’t it?), you can purchase a bottle beginning on August 22. The one caveat is that you’ll have to take a road trip to Clermont, Kentucky, to get one, as this limited-edition decanter is available exclusively at the American Outpost at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. for the suggested retail price of $124.99 for a 750ml bottle.
