It’s hard to imagine a traditional Timberland boot that isn’t rugged in form and yellow in hue. While the brand has certainly explored variations of its original boot, the iconic yellow lace-up boot remains the design that most defines the brand. And while there’s no reason to believe Timberland will mess with that formula anytime soon, the brand is exploring ways to revamp the boot with more sophistication and luxury. This journey has brought the creation of the Timberland Waterproof Luxe Boot.
As the name suggests, the new Timberland boot is built to be durable while crafted with an elevated look in mind. Wrapped in premium materials, the boot retains the traditional shape and form of the Timberland boot, refined for a more elevated take. Although many brands continue to explore creative and innovative designs, Timberland’s release is proof that there is always room for improvement.
Timberland’s iconic boot gets a refined and elevated upgrade

Although many may believe a revamp of the Timberland boot would mean a complete overhaul, the brand has opted to keep the original design and simply add a few sophisticated touches. Featuring a new smooth, supple Horween Dryden nubuck leather tanned in Chicago, the main base of the design is completed by a padded collar and soft lining in the same material. To enhance the boot’s durability and wear, the entire design has been seam-sealed for waterproof protection and finished with premium leather welts. Along with a new premium outside, the boot also features anti-fatigue technology and Vibram outsoles for better grip and all-day comfort. Available in “Wheat” and “Black” colorways, the Timberland Waterproof Luxe Boot is already available overseas and is expected to arrive in the United States in the coming weeks.
