For UK-based Dr. Martens, creating a timeless shoe that’s both street-style ready and sleek is no foreign task. Among the most recognizable designs in the business, Dr. Martens has certainly left its mark on fashion. Now, the brand is taking its overt coolness to the next level with a new hue for its iconic loafers. While the brand is mainly recognized for its lace-up boots, its loafer lineup doesn’t fall far behind. The Adrian Loafer model is considered their shining star, with plenty of iterations that’ll elevate your regular loafers into a runway-ready pick. And now with a new hue, these Dr. Martens loafers are far from your basic run-of-the-mill footwear choice.

While the first Adrian Tassel Loafer hit the market back in 1980, this new release is anything but its predecessor. Crafted with a high-shine leather in cherry red, this new loafer comes with all of the classic details with a little bit of modern flair. Featuring Goodyear Welted construction, the loafer comes with added comfort and durability. Traditional Dr. Martens details aren’t forgotten, with the grooved edges and visible stitching. Also featuring an air-cushioned sole, the Adrian Arcadia loafer offers a fair amount of abrasion and slip resistance. The Adrian Arcadia Leather Tassel Loafer is now available via the Dr. Martens website and retailers for $150. The Detroit-based brand is launching the Mackinac Night Race, a limited edition built around the yacht timer — the countdown complication used to time the start of a sailing race, aka one of watchmaking's more specialized tricks. The name nods to the Great Lakes maritime history the watch draws on (so not technically an official race tie-in).

One of the most iconic ways a man can stand out is to make a statement with his style. Now, this isn't as easy as it sounds. Most of the time, if a man doesn't know what he is doing when he goes to make a statement, he goes overboard. One of the tricks I have always loved to incorporate with my looks is a statement shoe. A typical everyday outfit can be elevated easily with a shoe standing out with color or pattern.
