Reebok and MARKET reunite for another bold, hybrid collection

Although it’s not the first time that Reebok and MARKET have worked together on a collaboration, it’s undoubtedly some of the boldest and most statement pieces the duo has released. Tapping into earthy tones and aquatic movements, this new collaborative collection embodies the dynamism you would expect from either brand. As to the inspiration of the collection, Mike Cherman, founder of MARKET, explained, “The inspiration for this collection was Land & Sea. Then we asked ourselves, ‘What if a strap sandal and a sneaker had a baby?’ You get this lightweight, open-air hybrid, made for hot days, wet feet, and spontaneous detours.” Based on this inspiration, the collection comes with two new bold designs and a series of apparel that meets the moment.

Reebok and MARKET bring the land and sea to footwear

According to Cherman, “Both shoes have design elements that reveal themselves over time. These aren’t just kicks – they’re experiences.” The first of the two shoes in the collaboration entails the Reebok x MARKET Club C 85 Water. Featuring a custom mesh upper with an open breathable design, the Club C 85 Water is versatile and comfortable from every angle. Complete with sandal-style straps, tonal laces, terry cloth lining, and custom branding details, this design is an excellent hybrid of what a sneaker and sandal fusion could be.

The second design included in the collaboration is the Reebok x MARKET Club C 85 Camo. This sneaker consists of a tear-away double canvas upper that dons MARKET’s signature camo design. Built with panel-free construction, this sneaker also includes tonal laces, terry cloth lining, and custom brand detailing. Along with the two new sneakers, the collection consists of various apparel pieces that complete the look. The two sneaker designs will land exclusively on September 19 via MARKET’s webstore, before a global release on September 24 via Reebok’s webstore and select retailers.

Serious Question: Why are you wearing anything OTHER than Taylor Stitch this fall?
Outdoors, Nature, Yard

Look, I am admitting it right here. The internet is forever. So I know I can never take this back. But I am not an unbiased journalist. Sure, I try to be objective in my reporting of brands and trends. But subjectively, I have favorites. Brands that speak to me. Brands that fit me well. The ones that define my lifestyle better than any others. Now that I have that off my chest, I can objectively say that there is no better brand for your casual wardrobe than Taylor Stitch. I have always loved them more than most, but this year, the Taylor Stitch F/W collection has me asking one very important question for all of you out there:

Why the Hell are you wearing anything other than Taylor Stitch this fall?

Christopher Ward’s new release turns its sporty Loco into a dress watch
Wristwatch, Arm, Body Part

Can a watch be a dress watch if it’s got an in-your-face design element like, say, the balance wheel visibly spinning on the dial? Christopher Ward is betting yes.

The Maidenhead, England-based brand just launched their C1 Loco Classic, a dressed-up take on last year’s C12 Loco. That watch was an angular, brightly colored sports watch built around the brand’s in-house CW-003 movement.
