Clarks’ Wallabee shoe is having an exciting 2025, and these remaining weeks still hold plenty of surprises for the iconic design. Pairing with the sneaker and streetwear store West NYC, Clarks is collaborating on a new campaign titled “A Love Letter to West 72nd Street.” Although this marks the first time the brands pair up, the campaign’s meaningful message would have many guessing otherwise. The collaboration’s campaign moniker isn’t the only ode to West 72nd Street captured in this partnership. In the duo’s marketing pieces, the teams cooked up images from real residents and workers on West 72nd Street, capturing the inspiration behind the campaign. For both Clarks and West NYC, 72nd St. is an essential pillar in New York’s footwear scene, making this campaign even more purposeful.
Clarks and West NYC gather for a new Wallabee design

As historic and timeless as New York, the Wallabee is a classic that has earned its place in footwear culture. Whether it’s through its original design or collaborative iterations, the Wallabee remains a must for any wardrobe. In this new partnership, West NYC has reimagined the Wallabee with subtle changes that manage to emphasize the shoe’s legacy. Crafted with a marled yarn upper in yellow, blue, and grey tones, the color combination showcases contrast, depth, and texture. True to its original design, the collaborative shoe dons the signature crepe sole. Along the right shoe’s sockliner, an impactful message reads, “Honoring those who served to make 72nd Street an iconic block for footwear retail.” Retailing for $160 and with a limited 300 pair run, the West NYC Clarks Wallabee will be available in-store at West NYC beginning on November 22 at 10 AM EST. The shoe will then be available online at WestNYC.com at noon EST.
