Fresh off of their collaboration with On, INVINCIBLE is back with another stellar partnership that brings back the deconstructed trend in a fresh new way. Along with adidas, INVINCIBLE is again taking on the street style with a special edition remix of an iconic silhouette. A statement design, the new collaboration between these two brands is nothing short of an avant-garde piece. Donning INVINCIBLE’s deconstructed design, these sneakers are the perfect way to wear your favorite adidas sneakers with a unique twist. For the Taiwanese-based brand, this partnership continues the brand’s appearance in the footwear world.

INVINCIBLE x adidas Handball Spezial

Arriving in two colorways, the INVINCIBLE x adidas Handball Spezial lineup features INVINCIBLE’s modern deconstructed design with adidas’ legendary silhouettes. Both versions use leather uppers with smooth suede toes and a hairy suede heel counter. Along the lateral walls, the sneakers are adorned with dotted perforations. The main feature of the collaboration is the shoe’s uneven cuts and raw edges throughout various aspects of the sneaker. The gum sole is slightly discolored, giving the shoe an extra vintage and used detail. As a unique bonus, the sneaker has a collapsible heel, allowing users to wear the shoe as a slipper. Co-branding is found on the design with gold wordmarks on the side and embossed logos on the heels. Available in white and black colors, this sneaker will hit shelves on April 12 at INVINCIBLE stores and April 19 via adidas. This collaboration is another stellar partnership from INVINCIBLE, a fun way to add personality and charm to your footwear collection.

I ran 50 miles on roads and trails—how the Craft Nordlite Ultra 2 performed
Is the Craft Nordlite Ultra 2 the only running shoe you need?
Craft Nordlite Ultra 2

When it comes to shoes, runners have almost too many choices. There are daily trainers, speed shoes, trail shoes, plated racers, and more. High-end models start around $150, so building up a “quiver” of footwear requires $300, $450, or more. That can make the simple, refreshing act of running an expensive hobby.

However, some manufacturers produce road-to-trail shoes that can handle both roads and trails, as well as everything in between. One such model is the Craft Nordlite Ultra 2, which features a supercritical midsole and a lugged outsole. I tested it on the roads and trails of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley to answer the question: Is this the only running shoe you need? Read on for my take.

While its design might not seem drastically different from other New Balance sneakers, the 992 silhouette has earned its status as one of the most popular in the brand’s lineup. First released in 2006 to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary, the 992 gained notoriety as the go-to sneaker for the late Steve Jobs. As part of his uniform, the 992 became a go-to practical shoe for many. While Steve Jobs was keen on the sneaker’s grey shade, the newest release of the sneaker sets out to give this silhouette a moodier feel. Not straying too far from its traditional look, the latest 992 will feature a darker colorway, making it a perfect option for those seeking a comfortable shoe later in the year.
