Hockerty is pitching the trench coat for Fall 2026

Hockerty

Hockerty is a brand I go to a lot. Classic European tailoring made easy online for us Americans across the water. What isn’t to like? So when their lookbooks drop, I am always curious to see what they are focusing on. They are regulars at Pitti Uomo and one of the leaders in accessibility. This season, they are doubling down on the trench coat and other outerwear to help us all get through the transitional season with their Fall 2026 collection, Made to Keep. The trench coat is the coat that does most of the talking in this collection, and it isn’t new. Trench coats usually do a lot of talking.

“Almost every man looks more so in a belted trench coat.” — Sydney J. Harris, Journalist/Author

“Everyone in the world should have a trench coat, and there should be a trench coat for everyone in the world. It does not matter your age; it doesn’t matter your gender. — Angela Ahrendts, Executive for Burberry and Apple

“Every man’s closet must contain a trench coat. It’s hard for any gentleman not to look dashing when clad in this swashbuckling style.” — Roger Stone, Political Executive

Transitional fabrics and textures

Getting the right coat isn’t the only step in making sure you are set up to brave the seasonal weather. You also need to master the art of layering. Starting with a temperature-controlling baselayer that pulls moisture from the skin. Then an insulating layer to keep the warmth in and the cold out. And finally, you can grab an outer layer that keeps the wind and the rain at bay. This lookbook does a masterful job of mixing the fabrics, the patterns, and the textures to create looks with depth and elegance.

80 grand for this new G-Shock? Casio says it’s worth it
Watch, Face, Numbers

Sapphire is great at plenty of things: resisting scratches, looking expensive, and… shattering when you drop it. That last one isn’t normally an issue for a G-Shock, a watch whose whole personality is built around not breaking at all.

So naturally, Casio had to challenge the status quo, and spent roughly eight years making a G-Shock out of sapphire.

James Bond style on International James Bond Day: These are the best looks James Bond ever wore
Sean Connery as James Bond

It is no secret that James Bond is one of the most stylish men in fiction. He has been a pillar of fashion and has driven fashion for men since he launched on October 5th, 1962. 64 years later, we still look to him for inspiration. But what is it about the debonair double-0 that keeps us enthralled with his sartorial choices? I can tell you it is because he follows the simple rule of fit over fashion. He doesn’t wear bright colors or crazy patterns. His looks are timeless and elegant. And, all of them fit perfectly. Everything looks as though it was made for him. That is why James Bond style endures. And since we’re celebrating James Bond today for International James Bond Day with a book, a watch, and rankings of his best movies and actors, I figured we couldn’t pass up the chance to check out his favorite looks too.

But with 25 movies under his belt, there are hundreds of looks to choose from when picking his best. So, I scoured the films (tough job) and came up with my favorite looks from 007.
