Casio G-SHOCK Unveils New Colorful, Ultra-Durable Watches

Fresh off the heels of Baselworld 2019, digital pioneer Casio has unveiled four new watches, which are as bright and bold as spring itself.

The timepieces are the latest from Casio’s G-Shock product umbrella, which includes a robust collection of watches built for optimized durability, and, as the name implies, total shock resistance. Like the other G-Shock models, these new time-telling gadgets achieve their sturdiness via a special Carbon Core Guard Structure, which is essentially a carbon fiber reinforced resin case outfitted with stainless steel detailing.

While this resilience translates to predominantly dark-colored pieces across most of the G-Shock collection, these new watches are anything but subtle. Available in a wide array of colors (including red, yellow, and bright blue), the GA2000 models are incredibly playful and customizable. That’s right, you can switch around the bands to your heart’s content, a fun feature that could be great for guys who like to shake things up.

.

This versatility isn’t just relegated to the realms of aesthetics, either. Staying true to the G-Shock ethos of unbreakable toughness no matter the environment, these timepieces are just as well-suited for the great outdoors as they are for bustling city streets. And how do they pull this off? With a construction that not only includes the carbon structure mentioned above, but a range of intriguing properties, such as 200M water resistance, super LED lighting, anti-shock technology, and dual-layered casing.

As far as the face is concerned, each watch is packed with a somewhat dizzying array of mechanizations, including World Time (up to 48 different cities), a stopwatch, countdown timer, and full auto calendar. Though the busyness may not work for minimalist guys, it could be a real selling point for those who like the military-grade look.

Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel

H. Moser & Cie was established in 1828. It is known for dials that possess a gradient finish with a spare aesthetic. It revealed a varied grouping at Watches & Wonders Geneva. It reconsiders its aesthetic through strong colors, and inventive enamelling, alongside dials of valued stone.

The Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Purple Enamel heads the new range. It has a gradient finish, alongside Grand Feu enamelling. The timepiece's steel casing measures 40mm. It has a dial with a hammered-finish in "Purple Haze." The creation used a process with six coatings of crushed pigments applied to a white gold base. The pigments were heated several times. The dial is free of logos or indices, maintaining the watchmaker's philosophy.

Moser & Cie are revered for striking releases and their latest includes eighteen singular timepieces across three distinct models, each bringing their own perspective of natural beauty through exquisite gemstone dials.
