Dr. Martens finally releases rain boots for the season
Designed to handle heavy rainstorms, the Dr. Martens 1460 Rain Boot isn’t just for looks, even though it manages to succeed at that too. Keeping the classic 8-eyelet shape of the original 1460 model, the rain boots are upgraded with a PVC-coated upper and fused outsole for waterproof protection. Faux-stitch detailing brings back the classic Dr. Martens look, while a rubberized heel tab and a custom last shape complete the design.
Inside, the PVC upper shell is lined with polyester, protecting against water, abrasion, and chemicals without sacrificing flexibility. The heat-sealed Goodyear welt construction ensures durability and resilience for all of your rainy-day journeys. To maximize functionality, the rain boots also feature an air-cushioned BEN sole for traction and support. The rain boots’ SoftWair insoles ensure comfort with every step, even in harsh conditions.
