This week, Southwest Airlines shared news of a partnership with German carrier Condor, which flies to almost 70 destinations throughout Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas from its Frankfurt hub. The collaboration calls for Southwest to handle domestic flights for Condor passengers who cross the Atlantic, joining both airlines’ schedules in Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle. These new transatlantic itineraries start January 19, 2026, and can be booked on Condor.com, on travel websites, or through travel agencies.
A fresh partnership opens the door to more seamless connections between the U.S. and Europe

“Adding Condor to our portfolio of partners brings transatlantic journeys between dozens of airports in the U.S. and exciting and aspirational places Condor serves,” said Andrew Watterson, Southwest Airlines Chief Operating Officer. “In Las Vegas alone, we can connect international travelers with the power of our network, offering them more than 270 departures a day and nonstop flights to more than 70 cities. Our airline partnerships showcase the warmth of our People, our operational reliability, and the increasing choice in travel experiences that Southwest now can offer to potential Customers around the world.”
“With the expansion of Condor’s partner network in North America, travelers benefit from a wider range of seamless and convenient travel options”, said Mikko Turtiainen, Condor Director Sales, the Americas. “The collaboration with Southwest Airlines enhances Condor’s transatlantic connectivity and provides our customers with an extended route network.”
Condor began in 1956 and flies 10 million passengers per year to nearly 70 worldwide destinations. In 2024, the airline revamped its long-haul fleet, which now includes 18 state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo aircraft. That figure is set to increase to 25 by 2031. Additionally, the carrier will upgrade its short and medium-haul fleet, ordering 43 new planes from the Airbus A32Xneo family. Those will debut by 2029.
