Following the success of the last partnership, Verve Coffee Roasters just announced its second coffee collaboration with The Grateful Dead. Announced today, “Cosmic Ripple” is the brand’s newest limited-edition organic coffee with special packaging designed by Online Ceramics, the cult Los Angeles-based art studio known for its Grateful Dead-inspired graphics and sold-out drops. Marking the next chapter in the Grateful Dead-inspired coffee program.
Coffee lovers can expect a bright and lively flavor from this organic Ethiopian coffee, designed to evoke movement and momentum. Cosmic Ripple’s packaging features an original, otherworldly design with a visual universe illustrated by Elijah Funk of Online Ceramics, blending the brand’s signature psychedelic iconography with a sense of motion and dimensionality.
“Cosmic Ripple builds on the foundation we laid with Morning Brew and deepens our connection to the culture and creativity that inspire us,” said Colby Barr, CEO and Co-Founder of Verve Coffee Roasters. “Partnering with Online Ceramics allowed us to bring together organic coffee, music heritage, and visual storytelling in a way that feels authentic to who we are. Online Ceramics is one of those rare studios that can live in a gallery, at a Dead show, and on the streets of L.A. at the same time, and that cross‑current of art, culture, and fashion is exactly what we wanted Cosmic Ripple to capture.”
Those interested in trying the new Cosmic Ripple can purchase it directly from Verve Coffee Roasters online (whole bean form only, 12 ounce bag), priced at $24 per bag.
