First introduced in 2013, renowned Kentucky-based distillery Michter’s recently announced the return of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey. This is only the fifth time this popular expression has been made available.
2025 Edition of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey

Just over 300 bottles of the 2025 Edition of Michter’s Celebration Sour Mash Whiskey are being made available, guaranteeing this is an extremely limited release. Bottled at 115.2-proof, this expression was made from only seven barrels from Michter’s aging stocks. The blend includes four Kentucky Straight Rye barrels and three Kentucky Straight Bourbon barrels. The youngest whiskey included in this expression has been maturing for more than 12 years, and the oldest has spent more than 30 years aging.
