Starbucks has long been at the center of drink trends and viral custom creations. Now, for the first time, the brand has announced a recap of the year’s most viral drinks, featuring the most-ordered customized and secret-menu items.

From coffee-inspired creations like the Chocolate Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso to non-coffee, fruity drinks like the Strawberry Matcha, this year has had some of the most unique sips of all time. If you haven’t had a chance to try these fun flavors yet, it’s not too late, as many of these customizations are available year-round. These three beverages stood out to me as my favorites among the nine most viral Starbucks drinks of 2025.

I’m a coffee addict — which means I rarely order tea-inspired drinks at Starbucks. The visual appeal of the Strawberry Matcha, however, left me especially intrigued to try this popular combination. I do enjoy the pink drink in its most basic form, but the addition of green matcha takes it to a whole new level. While this drink looks like a summer drink, it’s available year-round at Starbucks stores. The addition of strawberry puree, heavy cream, vanilla bean powder, and matcha cream cold foam creates a flavor and texture I really can’t compare to anything else. You’d just have to try this drink for yourself to appreciate its unique texture and taste.

Delta-inspired Cookie Drink

Biscoff cookies are quite possibly the best part of flying Delta. When I first heard of the Delta-inspired Cookie Drink, inspired by these signature cookies, I was intrigued and wanted to try it. This drink is a simple variation on the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, adding a warm, spicy sweetness reminiscent of a Biscoff cookie. Although I’m not usually someone who drinks sweet coffee drinks, this Delta-inspired Cookie Drink is a fun treat to order once in a while. The only thing that would make this beverage even better is pairing it with a Biscoff cookie on top (which might be your sign to order this secret drink before your next flight).

By itself, the year-round Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a fantastic drink. However, this variation with a splash of white chocolate mocha sauce, caramel drizzle, and vanilla sweet cream cold foam really elevates this drink for those who like a lovely and indulgent coffee. For me, this drink is more of a snack than a coffee (and I mean that in the best way possible). I would not be surprised if this favorite appears on the 2026 favorite list, too.
