Green River Distilling Co. is releasing a full proof wheated bourbon

Green River’s wheated bourbon is extremely popular in the whiskey world. Fans of the soft, sippable style love this expression. Recently, the brand announced that it would be upping the ante by launching a full-proof version of this beloved bourbon.

Green River Wheated Full Proof Bourbon

Available beginning last week, Green River Wheated Full Proof is available in 25 markets throughout the US. Made with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley, it’s aged 5-7 years in Green River’s clay-tile warehouses. The result is a cask-strength, balanced whiskey bottled at a range of 109-116 proof, depending on the batch.

“Wheated Full Proof is our way of giving fans a richer, more intense experience of the wheated bourbon they already love,” Dan Callaway, Master Blender, says.

“We kept the same mashbill and the same commitment to balance, then selected and blended barrels that truly shine at barrel strength. The result is a more robust expression that still drinks like Green River.”
