The Fourth of July is in our rearview mirror, but there’s more than enough summer left to enjoy. That’s why I was so excited to learn about the Sazerac Company’s launch of three new ready-to-drink cocktail brands at the same time. The lineup includes Lovebug Hard Cream Soda, Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade, and Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade.

“Consumers are looking for more than just another canned drink. They want real spirits, bold flavor, and brands that make every occasion more fun,” Lauren Selman, Global Growth and Innovation Director, says.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring these new offerings to market. Each one was created to deliver the quality, taste, and personality consumers expect while making it easier than ever to enjoy great cocktails wherever the moment takes them.”

If you’re a fan of the classic flavor of cream soda, you’ll love Lovebug Hard Cream Soda. This vodka-based cream soda is a nostalgic take on the RTD. It’s dairy-free, 100 calories, sugar-free, and only 5% ABV for sessionable summer sipping. The best part? It doesn’t come in just one flavor but four. They include Vanilla ‘n Cream, Cherries ‘n Cream, Cola ‘n Cream, and Peaches ‘n Cream.

Endless Afternoon Whiskey Lemonade is your favorite freshly squeezed lemonade on a hot summer day with a boozy kick. Made with real whiskey and real lemon juice concentrate, this 9% ABV RTD is citrusy, malty, and highly refreshing on a hot summer day. It comes in four flavors, including Original Lemonade, Peach Lemonade, Blackberry Lemonade, and Ginger Lemonade.

Buckhorn Whiskey Lemonade is made with a mix of blended whiskey and real lemon juice from concentrate. This 7% ABV RTD is well-suited as a complement to yard games, fishing trips, and dangling your feet off a dock this summer. IT comes in four flavors, including Classic Whiskey Lemonade, Peach Whiskey Lemonade, Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade, and Honey Whiskey Lemonade.

Where can I buy these RTDs?

All three Ready-to-drink cocktail brands are currently available at select retailers throughout the US in 8-packs for the suggested retail price of $18.99.

The best beers from California you can buy anywhere
California is more than just IPAs
Sierra Nevada

Currently, more than 9,000 breweries of all sizes operate in the US. That’s an awful lot of IPAs, stouts, and lagers to choose from. Some states are more saturated with breweries (per capita) than others. This includes places like Vermont, Colorado, Maine, Oregon, and, of course, California. While I could take a deep dive into all the biggest beer-producing states, today is all about The Golden State.

I have a special affinity for California beer, and it’s because of one style in particular. Sure, you can find a beer style to fit every palate in the state, but in California, the IPA reigns supreme. In fact, if you look at almost any list ranking the best beers in the state, it will be littered with IPA options. While I often imbibe pilsners and other lagers (as well as wheat beers and other lighter beers) in the summer as well as stouts and porters (and other dark beers) in the winter, I always go back to the classic West Coast IPA.
