Booker’s Bourbon has been releasing uncut, unfiltered, cask strength, small batch Kentucky straight bourbons since Booker Noe launched the brand back in 1988. Typically launching four times per year, fans of the bourbon eagerly await its release. Recently, the iconic brand announced the launch of Batch #2 of its 2026 releases: The “Milkshake Batch”.
Booker’s Bourbon The “Milkshake Batch”

You can add me to the list of people who eagerly await the launch of a new expression from Booker’s Bourbon. I have tried most (if not all) of the expressions from the last decade or more that have been made available to the public, and I am very excited for this new release.
The second release of the year, Booker’s Bourbon The “Milkshake Batch” was created to pay tribute to the homemade milkshakes Booker Noe used to make for his son Fred (Jim Beam’s current Master Distiller) after a day of fishing. As his son grew older, the addition of bourbon made for a boozy family tradition that is carried on today with Fred’s son, Freddie.
The whiskey itself is a 124.4-proof Kentucky straight bourbon that was matured for exactly 7 years, 6 months, and 12 days. According to the brand, the result is a memorable whiskey with flavors of vanilla and oak, and a lingering, warm finish. Since it’s a cask strength whiskey, you’re probably going to want to sip it neat, on the rocks, or with a splash or two of water to open up the flavors.
“Dad loved his dessert as much as he loved his bourbon. And being the inventor that he was, he found a way to bring the two together. His famous malted chocolate milkshake brought us all together, too. Every time we enjoy one today, it reminds us of good times with the Big Man,” says Fred Noe, Beam Family 7th Generation Master Distiller.
Where can I buy it?

If you’re a fan of Booker’s Bourbon and you want to add this new release to your collection, it will be available beginning this month at whiskey retailers throughout the US for the suggested retail price of $100 for a 750ml bottle.
