After transitioning from a mainstay collaborator to a footwear brand, Arc’Teryx continues its expansion with a new pair of sneakers. Adding a long-distance runner to its lineup, Arc’Teryx is taking its past as a collaborator and meshing performance features with plenty of style. While this new sneaker is minimalist in design, the details and features entice anyone looking for a new running option. While providing a wide variety of colorways, the new Arc’Teryx sneaker allows users to add GORE-TEX to their sneaker. With all the running features you need from a sneaker and the style details from an athleisure shoe, the latest Arc’Teryx release is a positive sign for the brand’s footwear collection.
Arc’Teryx unveils its Norvan LD 4 Shoe
Despite the option of including GORE-TEX, both versions of the new Norvan LD 4 shoe follow a similar composition. The sneaker is crafted with a woven polyester upper with laminated TPU reinforcement zones for a structural and sleek base. A flexible external frame keeps the foot in place, preventing it from sliding around while in use. The dual-density midsole provides cushioning and shock absorption for comfort and stability. The sneaker’s outsole features a Vibram Megagrip outsole with LITEBASE technology for a lightweight design that remains stable on all surfaces. The Norvan LD 4 shoe is available via Arc’Teryx and retails for $170 for the regular design and $200 for the GORE-TEX design. Although the brand has only recently begun its in-house footwear design, it’s apparent that the many collaborations it has under its belt have paved the way for a successful future for Arc’Teryx.
