Feel Good Friday: Warriors & Quiet Waters

Most of us will never see the battlefield. That’s because the brave men and women of our volunteer military sacrifice their time, comfort, and even their lives to make sure of that. The next time you’re enjoying one of America’s beautiful wide open spaces, take advantage of the sublime stillness and reflect on the brave men and women who endured hostile environments so you could enjoy this peaceful one.

War is a hard business — but for some, coming home is even harder. The emotional and physical scars make adjusting to civilian life a daunting prospect, and thousands of soldiers can’t make it on their own. Considering the tens of thousands of physically and emotionally injured soldiers in this country, there’s clearly work to be done. Still, organizations like Warriors & Quiet Waters are working hard to help soldiers find the beautiful tranquility they deserve. Although Apple TV+ has a number of hits on its hands, Shrinking has proven to be one of the service's most successful shows over the course of its first two seasons. After the second season wrapped up in December of 2024, fans have been eagerly anticipating a third outing.

After spending more than a decade in the world of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Vince Gilligan is finally branching out into something new. The new series, which is coming from Apple, is called Pluribus and stars Rhea Seehorn, who also starred in Better Call Saul.

Now, we've got our first teaser for the new show, and it's just as baffling as you might expect. In the teaser, we see a woman licking every donut in a box of donuts, as well as a sign that says "Help yourself" along with a smiley face. The teaser is just 30 seconds long, and we don't see Seehorn or have any context for what the show is about.
