Royal Enfield’s all-women race program crowns Taia Little 2025 champion

Royal Enfield’s Build Train Race program wrapped its 2025 flat track racing season at Lake Ozark Raceway in Missouri with a finale that came down to the wire. Fans saw tight racing, shifting podiums, and a championship decided in the final run.

The big story: Taia Little became the first Canadian to win the Build Train Race flat track title. She sealed the championship with a victory in the second race of the weekend, ending a season that showed how quickly the riders in this all-women’s series have developed.

The flat track finale

The weekend started with a thriller. Madicela Rodriguez edged Little by just 0.009 seconds to take her second win of the year. Emma Gottsch finished third, keeping the pressure on in the overall standings.

In race two, Little struck back, taking the win with Gottsch close behind and Rodriguez in third. That result locked in Little as champion, with Gottsch second overall and Rodriguez third.

Beyond the results, the riders showed how much progress they’d made since the season began. What started as a group of builders and trainees had clearly turned into a competitive grid, with Royal Enfield officials praising both the growth and the intensity on track.

The bigger picture of BTR

Build Train Race is now in its fifth year, and it remains one of the few racing programs built specifically for women. Each rider starts with a Royal Enfield motorcycle, an INT650 for flat track or a Continental GT 650 for road racing, and builds it into a race-ready machine. After training, they compete at major events across North America.

The format provides riders with hands-on experience as builders and racers while also highlighting women in a sport where they’re often underrepresented. With 2025 wrapped, the program is expected to return in 2026 with another grid of new talent ready to take on the challenge.
