Formula 1 extends F1 Authentics partnership with Memento Exclusives to 2030

Formula 1 is locking in a long-term future with one of its closest partners. The sport confirmed it has extended its licensing agreement with Memento Exclusives, the company behind F1 Authentics, through 2030. That means fans can get their hands on race-used memorabilia, signed gear, and even full-scale show cars for years to come.

Since launching in 2019, F1 Authentics has become the go-to spot for collectors looking to snag pieces of racing history. Whether it’s a Lewis Hamilton-signed helmet, bodywork from past machines, or reimagined items like coffee tables made from wheel rims, the platform has carved out a unique connection between Formula 1 and its fans.

Memorabilia and show cars at the heart of the deal

The renewed deal cements Memento Exclusives as the official supplier of F1 memorabilia and show cars for the next five seasons. The F1 Authentics platform has built its reputation on making authentic race history accessible to fans worldwide. Beyond auctioning off rare driver items, the company takes parts from retired race cars and turns them into collectible art, such as brake disc clocks and skid plank skateboards.

Another major piece of the partnership is the production of officially licensed F1 show cars. Built at Memento’s headquarters in the UK, each car is designed using CAD technology to ensure accuracy and authenticity. These show cars are deployed across the globe by teams, promoters, and sponsors, making them a key part of Formula 1’s global marketing presence. As a general rule, show cars are for exhibition only and do not have engines.

Why the timing matters

The deal comes at an especially pivotal moment. With new technical regulations arriving in 2026 and fresh teams expected to join the grid, Formula 1 is heading into a period of change. By renewing early, both F1 and Memento have ensured stability in a partnership that blends tradition with innovation. For fans, it means more chances to own pieces of the sport just as a new era begins.

My first vehicle was a 1988 Ford Ranger. It was small, reliable, and the perfect first car. However, I wasn't allowed to park it in the driveway at home because it went through as much oil as it did gas. The leak was bad enough that I had to check and refill the oil once a week. The same cadence as the gas tank. That was where I learned the importance of fluids for cars. McLaren hits the Formula 1 tracks across the globe with that importance at the forefront of mind as they compete for the championship, and will now be teaming with Motul to take their collaboration for the world's most reliable lubricant to the world of endurance racing. From the high stress of speed in Formula 1 to the endurance of long-distance racing, the perfect bespoke lubricant is on the way.

McLaren was already using a very high-performance transmission fluid, with an extremely high level of requirements. Our challenge was to go even further: decrease friction losses even more while ensuring lubricant durability over time. The formulation developed with McLaren Racing has been validated to maintain its performance over several thousand kilometers under Formula 1 conditions.
