This snowy ski town ranks No. 1 for Christmas proposals this year

A new study reveals the U.S. destinations where you’re most likely to get a holiday “yes”

If you’re planning to pop the question this holiday season, new data suggests you might want to head straight for the mountains. Casino Guru just released its 2025 Christmas Proposal Index, which ranks U.S. destinations based on three years of engagement content, travel trends, and snowfall patterns. The clear winner this year is Aspen, Colorado, named the top place in America most likely to deliver a “yes.”

Aspen’s mix of near guaranteed December snow, luxury lodges, and postcard worthy alpine scenery makes it one of the most romantic winter settings in the country. The study shows strong growth in Christmas travel demand and holiday engagement content, helping solidify its first place finish.

Lake Tahoe comes in second, boosted by its popularity among younger couples who share proposal videos online. With dramatic lake and mountain views and a good chance of a white Christmas, it performs well across every metric.

Central Park lands in third place thanks to its iconic status and sky high social activity scores. New York’s holiday travel interest is unmatched, and its festive energy keeps it a top choice even when snow is unpredictable.

Fourth place goes to Vail, where a cozy village, reliable snow, and growing proposal related content make it one of the strongest winter destinations for romantics.

Times Square rounds out the top five. It earns massive social engagement and continues to attract holiday travelers looking for a high energy backdrop for the big moment.

Savannah is one of those cities that seems almost too easy to like. The live oaks are dramatic. The Spanish moss does exactly what it is supposed to do.
