Limited Edition MW60 Headphones

Master & Dynamic, an up-and-coming high-end headphone maker out of New York City, has teamed up with expert timepiece manufacturer Bamford Watch Department (BWD) to craft a limited special edition redesign of M&D’s flagship MW60 headphones. The result is a stylish piece of luxury audio that should fit right in with any smartly dressed audio fan’s best business attire.

Keeping in line with all of Master & Dynamic’s sleek gear, the MW60 are a premium pair of wireless over-ear headphones inside and out. This new design upgrade matches black lines of stainless steel and aluminum, black lambskin leather on the ear pads, and black Saffiano leather trim on the outer headband and earcups with Bamford aqua accents on the underside of the headband and interior mesh of the earcups, as well as on the exterior logo decals. This touch of color makes the pair standout from the rest of the MW60 family — and other premium headphones as well.

When it comes to technical specs, the MW60 impress. Custom 45mm drivers are fed by Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX technology, designed for high quality wireless transfer from compatible devices. They also feature long-range wireless connection (at over 100 feet), 16 hours of battery playback per charge, easy-access touch controls for power and playback, foldable earcups for storage, and of course, the same anvil-strong construction we’ve come to expect from M&D.

Fore those who need a wired connection, the headphones ship with a four-foot long 3.5mm cable, a gold-plated quarter-inch adapter, a micro USB charging cable, and a canvas carrying pouches for the headphones and cords.

Master & Dynamic says this meeting of minds came about after Master & Dynamic CEO Jonathan Levine was introduced to BWD founder George Bamford, whereupon “the two bonded over a love of materials, craftsmanship and their shared passion for engineering excellence and innovation.” Both companies are well known for their attention to detail and form, and a collaboration based on these mutual sensibilities makes sense.

All we know is the new MW60 look chic and pair will with a spendy timepiece, a three-piece suit and, we dare say, a sharply cut crystal tumbler of your favorite beverage.

The special edition MW60 redesign is available now for $549, and can be purchased from both Master & Dynamic and BWD.

If you’re like most guys, your parents (i.e., your mom) did this for you while you were growing up, sneaking into your bedroom while you were out to collect your sh** from off the floor and put it back into your closet and drawers where it belonged.

Focusing on something you can control — the clutter in your closet — is a rare treat. Organizing your closet is an undeniably good use of free time, and it will make it easier to find items you're looking for.
