Samsung Introduces The Headphones You Have Been Waiting For

Few electronics companies have been as brazen and prolific as Samsung Electronics since the beginning of 2o14. Just recently it put out the latest update of its Galaxy series smartphone and tablet. Its Gear 2 smartwatch, also released recently, was widely received as a significant improvement over the first, and there are of course those curved-screen TVs purported to change forever the way we experience television. You might say Samsung is doing a pretty good job of pacifying consumers with little patience for fresh product, if not seizing every conceivable opportunity to shock and outpace the competition.

Available exclusively to Gilt.com for the next 72 hours beginning noon today, the Samsung Level portfolio of premium mobile audio products suggests the global technology leader is virtually unrivalled in the mobile products category, offering not one device but four—a collection of three premium headphones and a Bluetooth speaker—which all work seamlessly with smartphones and tablets.

Equipped with four mics on the inside and outside, the Samsung Level Over ($349.99) is an over-ear headphone designed to transport the user with its deep, immersive sound technology. Wireless studio sound via high-definition 5omm drivers combined with Active Noise Cancellation produce clear, original sound and powerful bass at any volume and there is less resonance between the vibration plate and frame. One of the best features of the device, no less, is Samsung’s Smart Control Technology: users can control the volume, skip tracks, pause or stop music, answer or end a call all by simply swiping the ear. S Voice Support is also offered, as is the Level’s own app for advanced settings, and the soft, breathable cushioned headband additionally means comfortable hours of play.

If you’re in search of a more compact design, however, the on-ear, wired Level On ($169.99) is for you. Foldable and also equipped with soft polyurethane cushioning, it’s the ideal headphone solution for the on-the-go mobile user who likes rich, clean sound.

Over-ear headphones, of course, aren’t for everyone, which is why Samsung also offers the Level In ($149.99), an in-ear, wired headphone. Sleek and solidly constructed, it packs a powerful three-way speaker system that controls treble, mid-range and deep bass, providing ultra clear sound separation and natural sound quality.

Level Box ($169.99), a 6.5″ x 2.5″ x 2.75″ wireless Bluetooth speaker, rounds out the portfolio with crystal clear sound that you can stream from any Samsung Galaxy phone or Bluetooth compatible device. The minimalist design is also optimized to provide noise reduction and echo cancellation, and a built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 15 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. One-touch Near-Field Communications (NFC) or the dedicated Bluetooth pairing button also provides easy synching, while a high-quality HD built-in microphone makes it a great alternative for phone or conference calls.

The complete Samsung Level portfolio, available in black or white, syncs of course with Milk Music, Samsung’s free music streaming service for select Galaxy devices. Its app comes with another clever swipe dial interface and more than 200 stations to play with. Samsung Level will be released after Saturday to Amazon, Samsung.com and select Samsung Experience Shops at Best Buy stores. Until then audiophiles will certainly want to take advantage of Gilt’s exclusive bundle of the Level On and Level Box for $299.99.
