Be the Life of the Party With the Pokketmixer

be the life of party with pokketmixer
In 2009 Christian Komm found himself on a road trip from Berlin to Amsterdam with a carload of passengers who couldn’t agree on what they should listen to. Komm, a radio and television technician, knew he had to come up with a solution, so he developed the Pokketmixer, a hand held, powerless device that allows the user to seamlessly mix music anytime and anywhere without power.

This useful device will guarantee that you will be the talk of the moment. It comes in seven colors — black, silver, blue, red, purple, gold and green. All you have to do is plug two MP3 players into the Pokketmixer, and one sound comes out. Use the crossfader to fade out one song while bringing in another, and the equalizer to tweak the bass, and there you have it — you’re a DJ!

“The Pokketmixer is the first mobile mini DJ mixer for everybody, it’s easy to use and — since it needs no power supply — it’s very versatile. It’s easy to wire up and is ready in just 30 seconds,” says Robert Thomalia, who founded the Pokketmixer company along with Komm. “It is able to cross fade between stereo audio signals, you can preview listen and equalize.”

You don’t need a complicated and pricey Serato, or heavy turntables to become a DJ. Just get the Pokketmixer and you can bring the party with you anywhere. Everyone will be intrigued by what you’re doing.

“I always like to take it with me to a party or an event and to use it there to interact with strangers,” says Thomalia. “Cause with the Pokketmixer you never stay alone for long.”
