2024 Booking Information

The initial 2024 booking process has been completed.  Most dates during the 2024 season (March 25 through November 26, 2024) are currently booked, although cancellations do occur throughout the season.  There are currently some two and three-bedroom lodges open on weekdays.  We suggest calling to check on current availability as dates are constantly changing.  By the time an email is read, and we get a response, the date may no longer be available.  Contact information:  865-429-5704, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday. 2024 Wait List Information

The 2024 season is booked with the exception of possible cancellations which are first offered to the wait list. The wait list is used to fill cancellations that occur with more than 30-days notice. Please read the guideline, complete the form and submit it through the website. You do not need to fax or mail the form. To check availability for cancellations within 30 days of the date, we recommend calling 865-429-5704 during our regular business hours.

The wait lists for the following dates are full and closed (not available): April -ALL; May-ALL; June- ALL; July -ALL; August 1-26, 30, 31: September 1, 2, 6-29; October 1-28  November 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23

Wait List Guidelines:

The lodge will be open from Monday, March 25 through Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

  1. Only one submission per party.
  2. Three individual dates or ONE range of up to seven consecutive nights may be submitted, of which you would accept any of the seven nights.
  3. The wait list is used to fill cancellations that occure with 30 days or more notice.
  4. Cancellations that occur with less that 30 days’ notice are not rebooked from the wait list but offered to the first inquiry that fits the cancellation. Some cancellations may be posted on X (formerly Twitter).
  5. NOTE that 3 or more-night stays are rarely available through cancellations.  If you would accept a one-or-two-night stay, please note that on the request.
  6. Reservations booked with 30 days or less notice must be paid for at the time of booking.
  7. Phone wait list requests are not accepted.
  8. If you are offered a date, you will be notified by email and be given a set time to accept the offer. If you accept or refuse a date, you will be removed from the lists on any other dates you may have submitted.

2025 Booking Information

LeConte Lodge is only accepting reservations for the 2024 season at this time. Information regarding booking and rates for the 2025 season will not be available until early autumn 2024, per approval from the National Park Service.

Payment Policy

Payments for reservations made by mail between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be due by the 1st of the following month; made between the 16th and the end of the month will be due by the 15th of the following month. Payments for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date are due when the reservation is made. Payment is accepted by check, money order or credit card. We do not accept American Express.

Cancellation/Change Policy

Refund provided for cancellations up to 30 days prior to arrival, less a $15.00 processing fee. No refunds for cancellations with less than a 30 day notice. This includes meals and lodging for group lodges and individual cabins unless we are able to rebook your reservation space (s); in that event the amount received from another party for your reservation will be refunded, less a $15.00 processing fee. Any partial cancellation up to 30 days prior to arrival will result in a refund, less a $15.00 processing fee. Any change in reservation dates will result in a $15.00 processing fee.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to our cancellation policy. We are not responsible for medical or family emergencies, weather or weather related trail conditions. Weather conditions or trail closures do not change the terms of our cancellation policy. There will be no refunds based on unavailable vehicle parking at trailheads in the National Park. It is the responsibility of all visitors to research Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s new vehicle parking fee policies effective March 1, 2023, and all parking or third-party shuttle service options in advance of their stay. We encourage you to research travel insurance services to best meet your needs if you must cancel or interrupt your trip due to unforeseen circumstances.

It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.

COVID-19

It is possible that visitors in 2022 will continue to experience modified access and amenities as the lodge works in conjunction with the National Park Service and CDC to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Prospective guests are responsible for reviewing the latest health and safety protocols at the time of submitting a written request, and in advance of their stay, should one secure a future reservation. Guests can visit our website anytime for updates or call our reservations office during normal business hours. Any interaction with the general public in the National Park poses an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19. By visiting Great Smoky Mountains National Park, visitors assume all risks related to exposure or the contraction of any communicable and/or infectious disease, including, but not limited to COVID-19.
